Tweet your Students

Twitter can be a wonderful way to communicate with your students and enhance information sharing.  As it becomes a more popular social media, it is likely that more of your students already have an account.  Jean Kent, IT faculty at North Seattle Community College, uses Twitter regularly with her students.  Some of the ways include:
  • tweeted course related reminders and updates.
  • shared useful resources with my students
  • pushed short videos out to my students to answer common questions
