Need a File that's on your Home Computer? Try Dropbox!

It's probably happened to many of us at least one time (or more, if you're like me!). You get to work only to realize that you left the document you were working on your home computer. Or you get home and then realize your USB jump drive is still in your office computer. If this has happened to you, then you need to read on.

Dropbox (a web-based software) can sync your files online and across your computers.  Put your files into your Dropbox on one computer, and they'll be instantly available on any of your other computers that also have Dropbox installed (Windows, Mac, and Linux too!). Because copies of your files are stored on Dropbox's servers, you can also access them from any computer or mobile device using Dropbox.

Here's how it works:  Let's say you're editing a document in the Dropbox folder at home. As soon as you press Save, Dropbox will sync this file to all your other computers and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android) instantly and automatically. It's as if you saved the document to all of your computers. This gives you the freedom to work anywhere and always have the files you need.

For more information about Dropbox, you can go to their website at https://www.dropbox.com/tour#1. You can also watch these short videos which demonstrates how it works.
